We’re Glad You’re Here!

Share Your Stories!

Your hometown is doing some pretty amazing things!

Your story has the power to help unify, inspire and teach. Your story has the power to spread ideas and energy.

Share the Karma! Send your community pride pictures, stories, flyers (and anything else) to us today.

When Union Members partner with communities, we do more than provide a temporary service. We build alliances with neighborhoods, social movements, and area businesses. We also change the way that the public sees unions and the struggle for economic justice.

Together, we can create a better social footprint, and a stronger workforce.

Sign Up to our National Registry of Community Activists, and let us know you’re ready and willing to help at the next community event at your Local!

Connecting to Community

Does your local have an upcoming charitable event?

District 141 offers a once-a-year charitable donation for local lodges that are active in their communities. Unfortunately, most local lodges never collect the money they qualify for. Find out how much money your local can get by contacting the IAM141 Community Service Dept, or fill out the Charitable Donation Request Form below!

From Cristina

“Hi Everyone! Thank you for visiting our new Community Service Page!

I look forward to helping you promote your community and neighborhood projects, and all the great work that your local is doing for your hometown.

Community Service is that feel-good activity, that allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. It’s not about making a donation. It’s about making a difference.

Let me know how I can help, and I hope to hear from you soon!
